Winter - The 2-Player Abstract Strategy Card Game
Every winter, the lake freezes over. It won't last long, so you have to move fast - claiming key spaces on the frozen lake before your rival does, and holding them before everything thaws and you lose it all. Show that the cold never bothered you.
How to Play
Winter is played across two distinct phases. In the Freezing Phase, players take turns building the frozen lake in a contiguous form using their snowflake cards, while attempting to secure zones where they've grouped four snowflakes of their colour - locking them in with chips. In the Unfreezing Phase, players undo the creation by moving and retrieving their cards and chips. When the lake is fully thawed, the player with the most chips remaining on the table wins.
